Default Please share your thoughts on forum consolidation.

I'd like to start getting some feedback from the users to help make these forums a better user experience.

Initially, I had intended for each sub division to have its own area to share information that is relevant to that particular neighborhood. That's really the way things are set up here already.

I'm wondering however if all of these different forums are a bit much. Should some of them be consolidated even further? Perhaps we have our main collective forums where everyone from all neighborhoods congregate and then have only 1 forum each for each sub division. A general chat if you will for each neighborhood.

Anyway, I'm not making any immediate changes, but rather get a general feel for what everyone else is thinking they'd like to have here. Changes could be made down the road if needed.

Thanks!

I think consolidation would be a good idea...not sure which forums would do well to be merged or deleted though. I haven't looked around the site enough to know. I do have a suggestion though. I am curious about what other homeowners have done with their floorplans. Maybe open a forum that corresponds to which floorplan you have. Then, ideas can be shared on modifications, remodeling and other spcifics to the common floorplan. Such as have a forum for all homeowners with a "Chase" (like myself) or "Adler", "Preston", etc. Just a thought, let me know what you think.

Summerglen and bellewood are together as one so would make sense to me to combine them.

I think major topic forums could be consolidated with neighborhood specific forums being retained for things like meetings and classifieds. Honestly what you have is a pretty good layout even though it appears to be heavy. I'd wait until membership increases before making any major decisions.

Agreed...the format is good. Keep subdivisions separate.
